PLY DESIGN HOUSE 2021

Plydesign has announced the PLY DESIGN HOUSE design contest for the first time this year. The month and half of product development was the final phase of the multiple rounds when the shortlisted candidates were given important criteria and directions for the concepts’ elaboration through one-to-one consultation. The Grand Prize and Audience Award were granted in the frame of the award ceremony held on October 15, 2021.

The ambassador of creative furniture design

In the spring of 2019, the Hungarian embassy in the capital of Algeria approached the Product Design Department of the Moholy-Nagy University of Arts with a special project.

The young furniture brand Plydesign has reached another milestone – the design brand was honoured to receive the Design Management Award on October 1, 2020.

Hungarian design in the halls of tourism

Plydesign design brand was honoured in the second half of 2019, before the pandemic situation, to be commissioned to design furniture dedicated to Tourinform’s newly renovated spaces. The project was an inspiring challenge - the result of the product development satisfied and even surpassed the expectations articulated by the client in terms of ergonomics, aesthetics and sensible thrift.
