Plydesign has implemented a new product development in form of an elevated chair which entails a height-adjustable seat to find the ideal position, a footrest to improve circulation and blood flow as well as a star base to ensure stability. FLAGSHIP shell is matching this type of leg, giving a splendid allure to the act of sitting at a bar or a counter.

Made from high-quality plywood, our product ensures durability and longevity, giving you the peace of mind that it will withstand the wear and tear of time. More importantly, it is an environment-friendly choice as we use only FSC-certified plywood. Meet the designer

András Kerékgyártó

András Kerékgyártó is the Head of Design at Plydesign and a lecturer at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design. He graduated from the Moholy-Nagy University of Arts in Budapest in 2011, obtaining a Master's Degree in furniture design. Between 2011 and 2013, he studied furniture design at Aalto University in Helsinki to deepen his knowledge.

Since then, he has worked on many projects that have resulted in several products already in production. In each case, he strives to understand and consider the aspects of production in close cooperation and continuous dialogue with the customer. His role and experience extend from the joint development of the concept through pre-production to follow-up, paying equal attention to all elements of the process.
