Meet the designer

András Kerékgyártó

András Kerékgyártó

András Kerékgyártó is the Head of Design at Plydesign and a lecturer at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design. He graduated from the Moholy-Nagy University of Arts in Budapest in 2011, obtaining a Master's Degree in furniture design. Between 2011 and 2013, he studied furniture design at Aalto University in Helsinki to deepen his knowledge.

Since then, he has worked on many projects that have resulted in several products already in production. In each case, he strives to understand and consider the aspects of production in close cooperation and continuous dialogue with the customer. His role and experience extend from the joint development of the concept through pre-production to follow-up, paying equal attention to all elements of the process.
