The aim of the workshop is not merely to decorate an object, but to experience how design – as a serially produced, functional item – can transform into a personal, one-of-a-kind piece through the creative process.

In the first part of the event, Ágnes Isza, founder of Azúr Bagoly, will be connected online, and will give an hour presentation on the history, application, and environmental benefits of milk paint. Participants will have the chance to ask questions and experiment with the material alongside the presentation.

Thanks to its natural composition, milk paint is eco-friendly, safe, and durable – it creates a surface that develops a patina over time, becoming even more refined as the years pass.

Participants can take their finished bookend home: the object thus becomes both an experience and a gift, made unique through personal intervention – standing at the intersection of serial design and individual creativity.
